Gerald Vaughn was born in Spokane, Washington on September 17, 1946, the youngest of three children. He was raised in Libby, Montana, where he attended Libby High School and Montana State University. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Korea.
Gerald enjoyed golfing, gardening, playing cribbage and talking about his grandchildren. He acted gruff, but deep down, he was a gentle, kind-hearted soul. He was a fighter, having survived lung cancer and prostate cancer. He loved his buddy, Squeeze; his girl, Lucy; and his grand-dog, Cooper.
Gerald was the beloved husband of Janice Vaughn, loving father of Heidi Vaughn, Edwin Vaughn, Heather Vaughn, and Paul Williams, brother of Janice Vick and Benjamin Vaughn Jr., and grandfather to seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin Vaughn and Eleanor Vaughn.
