Deeply loved, dedicated and adoring father; cherished son; beloved brother; valued friend. Anthony Roberti was these things, and infinitely more.
Anthony passed away in home on Saturday, March 29th. He had returned just the day before from a trip of a lifetime to Montana to visit his children with former wife, Chelsea Reed, Sophia (11) and Philip (7). Anthony's huge heart showed itself in many ways, but primarily in his clear dedication to his family.
During this trip, they spent their time cooking (and eating) delicious Italian food from recipes passed down from his grandmother; baking (and eating) yummy sweets, and helping Sophia with her 4-H program. Anthony loved to fish, and this week saw the three of them packing their gear, throwing their fishing poles over their shoulders to go Pine Grove Pond, near Kalispell. All three came away with fish and, with Anthony's help, Sophia landed a 24 inch Rainbow Trout!
Fishing wasn't Anthony's only sport. He was an excellent golfer, lettering in golf during all four years of high school. He also taught at the Powder Hound Ski Program at Mt. Hood Timberline Ski School.
Anthony was welcomed into the world almost 50 years ago, on May 1, 1975, in Portland, Oregon to Suzanne and John Roberti, who treasure both Anthony and big brother, Marco. They often traveled to Italy to visit extended family, and to Hawaii for relaxing and sun-filled vacations.
Anthony attended school in Vancouver and Portland, graduating in 1993 from Central Catholic High School, where he was chosen as an outstanding science student. He attended University of Washington and Portland State University, eventually building a career as an IT professional.
The treasured people in Anthony's life that will miss him greatly are Sophia and Philip; former wife, Chelsea; parents, John and Suzanne; big brother, Marco, along with a loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Service information is provided below.
