Charles Bennett Obituary

We are heartbroken to announce the untimely passing of Charles Robert Astorino Bennett, on march 28th 2023, following a "hopeful recovery"post surgery.. The loss of this wonderful person has  affected family and friends who loved him immensely.

Charles (Charlie) was born in Passaic NJ on October 19th 1961 to Ruth Bennett and Charles Astorino, their third child together. He joined the US Air Force at 18. He continued working in the banking and computer business throughout life. He loved basketball  and could quickly answer any question ever asked about the NBA or the Hobbit Lord of the Rings world. Charlie loved long drives to the mountains the beach, trips to Vegas with his brother and friends. His dislike for spiders was well known.

He was an amazing caring brother who always had a way to calmly inspire and brighten your day.. "Grandpa" to Brodi, uncle to Brooklyn. Son& grandson to his late beloved Grandpa Sepich and Grandpa Astorino,  nephew, cousin, friend. He will never be forgotten, and life for us who go on without him will  never be the same. We miss you, Charlie.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Oregon Humane Society, in memory of Charlie's beloved cat, "Bobbie."
