Douglas H. Jacobs

Douglas H. “Doug” Jacobs, 63, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, in Tigard, Oregon.

Doug was born on March 24, 1963, in Deerfield, Illinois, to Andrew and Marge Jacobs. He grew up in Lake Oswego, Oregon, where he graduated from Lake Ridge High School. Following high school, Doug proudly served in the United States Navy and was stationed in the Mediterranean during his service.

After his honorable discharge, Doug began a successful career in door and window installation, eventually becoming a respected business owner known for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship.

In 1991, Doug welcomed his beloved daughter, Brittany, who sadly preceded him in death in 2001. In 2000, he married the love of his life, Julie, with whom he shared many happy years filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Together they enjoyed spending time with friends and family, traveling, rafting, and camping.

Doug is survived by his devoted wife, Julie Jacobs; his siblings, Drew Jacobs (Sarah), Anne Jacobs, and Glenn Jacobs (Janine); as well as 13 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brittany Jacobs, and his parents, Andrew and Marge Jacobs.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. The family will hold a private interment.
