Filipo Reynoso, a self-made man and loving family member, passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 74 in Clackamas, Oregon. He was born on October 25, 1949, in Bonao, Dominican Republic. Filipo was a Vice President at Majestic Shapes, Inc, Bronx, New York, for over 25 years, where he oversaw international manufacturing operations in the Dominican Republic and Monterrey, Mexico. Due to the nature of his business, he traveled extensively. In September 2017, Filipo retired and relocated to Oregon.
Filipo was a devoted husband to Carmen, a caring father to his son Marc, and an incredible grandfather to his grandson Dominic. He cherished his family and always put them first. His sister, Xiomara Reynoso de Betances, and daughter-in-law Lakesha were also important parts of his life. Filipo was preceded in death by his grandmother Ramona Febre, father Ramon Reynoso, and brother Hector Garcia.
Outside of his successful career, Filipo enjoyed bike riding and swimming. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to stay active. He was a man of faith and will be remembered for his devotion to his Catholic beliefs.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 15, at 11 A.M. at Christ The King Catholic Church, located at 11709 S E Fuller Road, Milwaukie, OR 97222. Contributions in Filipo's memory can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Center, in lieu of flowers.
The funeral arrangements are being handled by Riverview Abbey - Mausoleum - Crematorium, located at 319 S Taylors Ferry Road, Portland, Oregon 97219.
Filipo Reynoso will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May his soul rest in peace.
