Henry S. Lewis, 65, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away unexpectedly on March 7th, 2024. He was born on May 4th, 1958, in Portland, Oregon.
Henry dedicated his career to serving the Beaverton School District as a classified employee for many years, diligently maintaining the buildings and grounds. Known for his unwavering commitment, he readily assisted staff members in need and garnered adoration from both colleagues and students alike. Upon his retirement, he left behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.
Beyond his professional life, Henry was an avid sports fisherman, motorcycle enthusiast, and culinary experimenter, delighting in sharing his culinary creations with others. He also found joy in bowling and crafting his own beer. Throughout the years, his cherished pet cats brought him companionship and comfort.
Henry's compassionate nature was evident to all who knew him. Ever willing to lend a helping hand, he embodied kindness and generosity, earning the affection of everyone he encountered. His warm demeanor and infectious smile brightened the lives of those around him.
Henry is survived by his son, Tyler Lewis; his mother, Leonor Lewis; his brother and sister-in-law, Rodger and Arlene Lewis; his brother, Timothy Lewis; his sister, Susana Blasco; as well as his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass and reception will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 21st, at:
