Our dear mother and grandmother, Jean Ann Thomson passed away peacefully in Beaverton, Oregon on November 3, 2024 at 90 years of age. Jean Ann walked through life with a gentle strength and unforgettable grace that touched everyone around her.

She is the last of her generation, preceded in death by her husband, Jack Thomson, her parents, Prema and James Boyce, her brother, William Boyce and son, Stephan Hess. 

Jean Ann was born in Portland, Oregon where she raised her children Jacqueline Thomson and Jeffrey Thomson.  She is survived by eight grandchildren and their children.

She went to school at St. Mary’s Academy in Portland, Oregon and worked as the Operation Clerk at Northwest Natural Gas Company for 34 years.  She was an avid reader, played bridge and enjoyed vacationing in Hawaii.

A celebration of life will be held at her final resting place at the Riverview Abbey Mausoleum on her heavenly birthday, November 12th, 2024 at 1 pm.
