Marilyn loved books, flight, and wandering the streets of Paris. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, OR. Born in Poplar Bluff, MO, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Oklahoma and a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. She worked as an occupational therapist at Houston Methodist Hospital with neurology patients for twenty years. Later, she became the Associate Director of Education for the Parkinson’s Disease Research, Education and Clinical Center at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX and an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine. She retired to Portland and enjoyed writing, travel, and her many friends. She is survived by her sister, Dolores Trail of Mountain Home, AR.
