Patricia Joan (Herald) Cecchi

Patricia Joan Herald was born at the old St. Vincent Hospital in NW Portland. She went to catholic grade school in North Portland at St. Cecilia’s, then on to Immaculate Academy for high school in NE Portland. She continued her education by attending Marylhurst College from 1954-1958 which included an internship for a year to complete a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. The internship took place at St. Vincent Hospital, in the laboratory, where she then worked for 40 years. After retirement, Patricia spent 22 years at the hospital being a volunteer, doing different services, CRU and ISU and bingo were her primary services.

She enjoyed many years after going on many cruises and tours (by land) of Europe; plus baseball tours around our USA.

Patricia very much enjoyed the family growing up, both Therese and Christopher, and David’s children, Katie and Nicholas.

She has been grateful over the years to have a great group of friends and family members.

A Funeral Mass will be at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 4567 SW Nevada St, Portland, OR 97219, Friday May 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM with a Recitation of the Rosary  beginning at 10:30 AM.  Services provided by Riverview Abbey Funeral Home.
