Rose Marie (Navarra) Thompson

Rose Marie Thompson, born in Portland Oregon on 12/28/1932, the daughter of Charles James Navarra and Theresa (Guardino) Navarra, died of natural causes on October 30 2022. She was just 2 months shy of her 90th birthday.

Marie, as she liked to be called, was the pillar of the family and was loved by all who knew her. She was a devoted Catholic, mother, wife, grandmother, and a phenomenal cook. Family was everything to Marie. She was married to Dean Thompson for 38 years, until Dean passed away.

She is survived by her loving children, Richard Thompson, Mike Thompson and Leeanne Gertsen, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest at Riverview Abby, in Portland, OR on December 2, 2022 at 11 am.
