Sandra Lea Griffin

"On the morning of June 29th, 2021, Sandra Lea Griffin passed away at the age of 60 surrounded by family.

Sandra was born to Abe and Carolyn Nosser in Missouri. She met Dennis Griffin in Portland, OR at the age of 17, and they were sweethearts ever since. They married young and had three children, Chelsea, Audrey, and Nicholas. Sandra and Dennis graduated nursing school together and worked for many decades as RNs.

They achieved their dream of opening an assisted living together named Sandra Care in Centralia, Washington. She cared deeply about her patients and helped many as their lives drew to a close; she remembered all of their names.

Sandra enjoyed the simple things in life, a good home cooked meal, a garden, jazz music, and the love of family. Her favorite hobbies were trying new cooking recipes, watching the hummingbirds, and a good chick flick. Her fennel biscotti cookies were one of her favorite holiday treats to share with everyone. She had many grand adventures in this life, too many to list here.

Myelofibrosis took her too soon, but we will always remember her kindness and gentle spirit."
