Following is a summary of eligibility for a Veterans Funeral:

• Military members on active duty 
  
• Military retirees 
  
• Members and former members of the Selected Reserve 
  
• Eligible U.S. Veterans of any war 
  
• Other U.S. Veterans who served at least one term of enlistment and separated under conditions other than dishonorable
  

The death benefit for the qualified veteran is limited to only the burial expense itself. A licensed funeral home such as Riverview Abbey is available to perform additional services such as embalming, casketing and funeral arrangements.
