Timothy Proctor

Timothy Proctor

Funeral Home Manager

Timothy Proctor, a licensed director and embalmer, has been with Riverview Abbey since 2013. He is a Portland native and Mt. Hood Community College graduate. Tim has served on an Administrative Rules Advisory Committee for the Oregon Mortuary & Cemetery Board (OMCB). In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, working on his house, and playing music in a local band.


Roger Sinnott

Roger Sinnott

Funeral Director

Roger is a 4th generation native and resident of Portland. He graduated from Central Catholic High School and received a Bachelors degree in Philosophy at Mt. Angel Seminary College and Graduate of School of Theology. He was ordained a priest and served in the archdiocese of Portland as a teacher, chaplain and pastor. Roger also spent 6 years as a neighborhood organizer and crime prevention coordinator in the Portland area where he helped develop and manage the city's Graffiti Removal Program.  Roger (known as Hodge by his friends and family) joined the staff of Riverview Abbey in 2009 after 12 years in the funeral service industry. In his spare time, he enjoys theater, sports, genealogy, travel, walking and any outdoor activity.


Gregory Heckman

Gregory Heckman

Funeral Director

Gregory was raised in Stayton, Oregon and graduated from Stayton Union High School in 1992. He served his Funeral Director & Embalmer apprenticeship at Attrell’s Funeral Chapel’s in Newberg and Sherwood, Oregon. Gregory graduated from Mt. Hood Community College Mortuary Science program in Gresham, OR in 1997. He began his career at Mt. Scott Funeral Home, Portland, Oregon. He then worked for Macy and Son Funeral Directors in McMinnville, Oregon for several years. Gregory has been honored to serve families in the Willamette Valley for over 28 years. He was also a former board member of Willamette Valley Hospice.

 
His hobbies include spending time with his family and friends, and enjoying Sports of all kinds. He is an avid golfer and enjoys his membership at East Moreland golf course. He loves college football and specifically the Oregon Ducks. He is also an avid Portland Trail Blazer fan.

Gregory enjoys serving all faiths and is passionate about putting together meaningful funeral and memorial services that will be memorable for family and friends for years to come. Greg Brown

Greg Brown

Pre-Need Counselor

Greg is a licensed Pre-Need Counselor. He attended Mt. Hood Community College and Portland State University, studying Business Management and Spanish. Greg lived in South America for 11 years and is fluent in Spanish.  He is married and has four children and fifteen grandchildren and one great grandson. Greg is a licensed pilot and enjoys flying. Other interests include singing and playing the piano. Greg has been involved in church and community service for the past 35 years.



Tonya Witham

Office and Family Services

Tonya was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. She moved to Portland in 2005 to  pursue her childhood dream within the Funeral Industry, at just 18 years old.  She has over 15 years of experience serving families. She enjoys helping them plan, memorialize and personalize tributes during life’s most difficult occasions.

She enjoys volunteering on her local fire department Advisory Board and loves being a ChemoPal Child Mentor for kiddos through the Children’s Cancer Association. She previously served with Meals on Wheels and feels fortunate to have worked with such a wonderful organization.

Her hobbies in her spare time include exploring and enjoying the great outdoors, specifically here in the PNW. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends around a campfire. Her life wouldn’t be complete though without her spoiled mini dachshund Mosley.
